Wicked Oreos Tasting
In the last entry, Carla and I tried making our own wicked oreos at home. They didn't turn out looking as appetizing as the original ones, so we were a little hesitant to let others try it. Here is a video of us forcing offering our home-made wicked oreos to our brothers, Luis and Michael. Watch the video to see how they liked it! :)

Homemade Wicked Oreos
As I mentioned in my last post, Carla and I tried making wicked oreos at home. You can see how we did it here in this video! They don't look like wicked oreos you can buy from Flaming Wings, but they taste identical enough! Enjoy! :)

Wicked Oreos

Have you heard of the restaurant Flaming Wings? If you are a student, resident or frequent visitor near the areas of Katipunan, Taft Avenue or BF Homes, you should know this very affordable place well known for their flaming buffalo wings and chicken tenders. I’m also sure you’ve heard of their famous dessert – Wicked Oreos!

One order of these Wicked Oreos consists of three breaded oreos and one scoop of Big Scoop vanilla ice cream with what seems like cinnamon, cocoa powder and sprinkles, well, sprinkled on top. Because it’s served right after cooking, these hot oreo “puffs” contrast nicely with the rich taste of cold vanilla ice cream. The sprinkles are a great finishing touch, adding sugar and spice to the already delectable treat.
If you happen to be in the area of any of the three branches and are looking for a quick fix-up for lunch, Flaming Wings is the place to go. Quick, affordable meal, then this deadly... I mean heavenly dessert afterwards. Wicked Oreos is quite affordable at the price of 75 pesos! As a former student of UP Diliman, I used to frequent the Katipunan branch pretty often for lunch. I personally like to share one order with a friend. Although for most people, one serving is too good to share; they must have it all for themselves! Now that I’ve transfered to a school in Makati, there isn’t a branch near my area anymore and I’ve been craving for this oreo concoction for quite some time. That's why Ate Carl and I will try to recreate this dish at home! Watch out for this video coming up soon! :)
